Viivi is a Finnish writer and journalist.
Viivi worked seven years on national TV cannels so she became one of the Finland’s most famous TV-personalities.

She has a vast experience in sports, music, movies and fashion, thanks to her long career in sports and entertainment news broadcasting. Now she is working as freelancer journalist writing articles to Finnish magazines and working on her second book.

Viivi’s first shot at television came at the age of 21 when she was asked to work as a reporter for Drive, a weekly golf show for Finnish Channel Four. Soon after she became the youngest anchor and reporter for the daily Sports News of Channel Four.

In 2005 Viivi changed the channel to MTV3 where she became the leading anchor and reporter for Entertainment News. Entertainment News is a daily show that covers lifestyle, music, movies, fashion, design and other popular culture related topics. Viivi quit her TV-job on December 2006 and started to work as a freelancer.

In addition to being a news anchor Viivi has worked in numerous other media related projects. For example in summer 2003 she worked as the Master of the Ceremonies on the FIFA U-19 Championship in Helsinki and it was broadcasted by EuroSport.

2008 Viivi took part of YLE’s channel TV2 reality show called Stable Stars. In the show celebs try to learn how to do horse riding as show jumpers. In the competition Viivi managed to get her place to the final, she finished second.

In 2006 Viivi became a published author. Her Girl’s Survival Book can be described as Sex in the City meets Bridget Jones. In addition to its uproariously funny fictional story, The Girl’s Survival Book offers indispensable tips for the urban singleton. The book will be translated into English on July 2009.

She has travelled extensively around the world. In her rare free time Viivi likes to read, do yoga, play tennis and golf. Her HCP in golf is 14.
